The circle
When you lied to yourself,
You told me the truth.
When you tried to forget,
I realized it were you.
My reflection is clear,
Since the smokescreen's been gone.
And your wounds have been healed,
Now you can carry on.
But the memory that's left
Will never let go,
It connected between
Our two haunted souls…
I guess this is the end,
Guess this wasn't a dream;
But the war didn't end
And the peace ain't begin…
this song was written after i've seen "matrix3" (september 27)
O_O'' it has no real connection to the movie so XD i don't know...
i know this song is a little bit confusing, like my other songs, and i won't expect somebody to understand it but i like it ^_^

tnx :]
I forgot to add, the title and the last lines are really closing the circle =)
Though you say it's not connected to The Matrix, I can see some similarity. Like the first and the last parts. However, as I see and understand them, the whole meaning of the poem can be summarized in the last part, though this is the end (what can be ascribed to many things and feelings, much more to unseen than to the seen ones), it does not mean the war has ended, whatever it is attributed to...
Maybe I misunderstood a part of it, but my favourite lines are:
But the memory that's left
Will never let go
Memories are sometimes much and much powerful thanmany other things.
